Nightly strolls through the streets of Patan, Nepal are eloquent and chaotically impeccable. The everyday life is embodied in these streets. The photograph is a material manifestation of resilience and adaptability after the massive earthquakes in Nepal in April/May of 2015. This vertical imagery is an expression of fluid moments where people continuously interacted with the physical movement of the ground directly below them. It is a moving still-life of physical, corporeal, and cerebral interaction of people with their shaken, yet rigid, urban spaces.
